How to read the results

Monthly premium is what a carrier quotes for your monthly payment based on the coverage amount, term, and health level you selected. Rate class indicates the underwriting category the quote assumes; the carrier decides the final class through underwriting. Exam indicates whether the carrier will need a medical exam; many accelerated programs don't require one for qualified applicants. A.M. Best displays the carrier's financial stability rating.
